National Talk: Naidu Demands 6 Ministries & Speaker Post?

It’s just 2 hours ago that Telugudesam Party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu landed in Delhi to attend the NDA meeting that will be presided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting is mainly about forming the government at the centre, and sharing of power. And here comes national media reports about what Naidu is demanding.

According to India Today, it’s coming out that Chandrababu Naidu has demanded Central Minister posts for TDP+Janasena MPs, and he wants portfolios like Health, Rural Development, Transport, IT, Agriculture and Jal Shakti Ministry.

Also, Naidu is said to have demanded the Ministry of State, Finance. The final nail in the coffin is that Naidu also demanded a Speaker post for a TDP MP, like how GMC Balayogi, TDP’s then Amalapuram MP took the post in 1998.

With TDP being the big and crucial player in the NDA right now as BJP didn’t fetch a great number of MPs in the 2024 polls, surely Chandrababu is throwing all his bargain chips quite right.
