YSRCP leader and Ex-MP of Hindupur, Gorantla Madhav reacted on the election results and said his party will accept people’s mandate with a open heart. He congratulated Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan for securing a thumping victory in these elections. He also wished good luck for the cabinet ministers who are going to be elected by the new government.
Reacting on the attacks that are being carried out on YSRCP followers, Madhav said TDP supporters are behaving like Talibans and resorting to unbridled violence in various parts of the state. He warned of consequences and said that the YSR Congress party will go till any extent to protect its supporters.
Madhav said he and his supporters will initially take a civilized route and bring to the notice of the police authorities regarding the attacks on YSRCP in the form of written complaints. If these attacks don’t stop in the next couple of days, Madhav said they will adopt an eye for an eye(a tooth for a tooth) strategy against the opponents.
Madhav said the NDA alliance should fight for special status and other important issues that are useful for the state. He further said the 4 MPs representing YSRCP will demand special status in parliament in the upcoming sessions.
