Bollywood actress and newly elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has alleged that she was slapped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable at the Chandigarh International Airport on Thursday.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the security hold area of the airport when Ranaut was about to board a flight to Delhi to attend an NDA MPs meeting. The constable, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, reportedly slapped Ranaut following a routine frisking procedure. During questioning, Kaur claimed that Ranaut had made disrespectful comments about women from Punjab during the recent farmers’ agitation. However, the exact context and timing of these alleged comments remain unclear.
Kangana has strongly condemned the incident and announced her intention to file a formal complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs. She has also shared her experience on social media through a video, expressing her shock and disappointment over the assault. However, she added, “I’m safe and perfectly fine”.
The altercation has sparked widespread debate on social media, with many expressing solidarity with Kangana and demanding action against the constable.
