Naidu Shouldering Final Procession – Act Of Greatness

Upon the pictures of TDP leader and CM-elect Chandrababu Naidu lifting the corpse of Ramoji Rao in the final procession were shared on social media, YSR Congress folks started to troll him, saying that he lifted Ramoji because they both belong to the same ‘Kamma’ caste. That’s not true, however.

If we look into the recent past, from Hari Krishna’s final procession to that of former MP Kinjarapu Erramnaidu, Laal Jaan Basha to Eluru MLA Badeti Bujji, Naidu always took part in final processions and shouldered the corpse.

And all these leaders are members of the Telugu Desam party but don’t belong to the same caste as Naidu.

Before criticising, probably YSRC social-media teams should do their research better. Also one should notice the fact that this is an act of greatness as well.

For a man of Naidu’s stature, age and range, surely he can simply offer a condolence, speak before media mics and leave.

However, he chooses to lift up the final mortal remains being carried to the funeral, to the pyre.

That shows he wants to inspire the generations, showcasing that it is the good deeds that remain but the body gets mixed up with the land anyway. Isn’t that great?
