Chandrababu Retains Key Portfolios

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has allocated various ministries to his Cabinet but retained several important wings with him only.

There is buzz that Naidu had taken a correct decision to retain vital wings like general administration with him while many other CMs had entrusted that responsibility to the ministers. However, Naidu took a right thing by retaining it with him as it would help him check the ministers, leaders and even the top-rung officials.

In the Home department too, Naidu has kept the law and order wing with him as it would help him have a control on the police force. Vangalapudi Anitha was given only a few other wings in the home department. In the past, former CM late YS Rajasekhara Reddy too had allocated the Home Ministry to Sabitha Indra Reddy but retained the law and order wing with himself.

Even former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also made two SC women minister of the Home department but retained the law and order wing with him. This would help the Chief Minister be aware of the happenings in the state.

Naidu also kept the legislative affairs wing with himself and this decision is being hailed as a correct one by the political observers.
