The NDA Alliance assumed charge under the leadership of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has become the Opposition leader and made it clear that he would target the shortcomings of the ruling party in the implementation of various welfare schemes.
Accordingly, the YCP leaders began criticizing Chandrababu Naidu for not implementing the Mega DSC, soon as he was sworn-in as the Chief Minister.
On assuming office the next day, Naidu signed on the DSC file and the YCP was baffled at this development.
Then they started targeting Naidu for filling only 16,000 teachers while as many as 50,000 teacher posts are vacant in the state.
However, even this argument would not hold good for the YCP leaders as filling 50,000 posts at a time is highly impossible.
Moreover, having failed to conduct at least one DSC in the YCP’s five-year tenure, the party leaders do not have ground to flay the TDP government. Instead, they will have to appreciate Naidu for initiating his promise of providing employment to the youth, soon after assuming charge.
Moreover, Naidu also signed on the file relating to increasing the social security pensions to Rs 4,000 which means even that election promise will also be implemented soon.
It would be better if the YCP leaders could turn back and recall their failures rather than criticizing the TDP leaders for not doing something which is highly impossible.
