Vijayasai Reddy says Babu Can Easily Get Special Status

In the recent election, YCP slipped from 151 MLA seats and 22 MP seats to 11 MLAs and 4 MPs. Ever since, the party has been carrying a new narrative against Chandrababu and his prominence in the central government formulation.

YS Jagan himself recently said in an internal meeting that TDP has great leverage at the center and can easily fight for Special Status for AP as his support is crucial for NDA.

Now, it is the turn of Vijayasai Reddy to bombard the narrative further as he tweeted that Chandrababu can easily get SCS to AP.

“If Chandrababu wants, he can easily get Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. The Central Govt. depends on his support and as part of the NDA, he can easily meet BJP leaders and work it out. With this political situation, all he needs to do is ask.” Vijayasai tweeted.

In response to Vijayasai’s tweet, TDP activists are commenting that YCP had 22 MPs for the last five years, and not once did they raise their voice for SCS in a consolidated manner. But now that the Kutami has come to power, all of a sudden they are pushing Chandrababu to secure the SCS while they themselves did nothing in the last five years.

TDP leaders also reminding the Vijayasai reddy a week ago warning to BJP, that NDA government needs their support in Rajyasabha to pass bills.
