It is an established fact that Ashok Gajapathi Raju is one of the well respected seniors in TDP. Back in 2014-19, he was promoted as the union minister, thanks to Chandrababu’s efforts and he served as Civil Aviation minister in the said period.
Though Raju didn’t contest in this year’s election, his past service for TDP has been rewarded sweetly by Chandrababu as he was announced as the new TTD chairman.
The 7-time MLA and 1-time MP from Vizianagaram has been rewarded for his loyalty towards TDP as he is accorded the coveted TTD chairman post that usually has a lot of potential suitors.
2024 has been a great year for Raju as his daughter Adithi Vijayalakshmi was given the Vizianagaram TDP ticket this time and she won by 60,000+ votes. Now, it is the turn of Raju garu to take up the post.
Earlier, the YCP government appointed Bhumana Karunakar Reddy who had a tainted image in the public as the TTD chairman. This time, Chandrababu has given the post to Ashok Gajapathi Raju who has a clean and green image.
