Chandrababu Seeks Info From Revanth Reddy

The much anticipated fruitful meeting between Chandrababu and Revanth Reddy happened later last evening and it is the focal point of many discussions in the Telugu sates now. In this regard, an interesting update has popped up as we are hearing that Chandrababu asked Revant a key question about the free RTC bus ride for women program.

Chandrababu had promised to impose the free RTC bus ride for women program which is already in effect in Telangana. So, Naidu sought some knowledge transfer from Revanth and the implementation and logistical tropes of the program which is being successfully implemented in Telangana.

The TDP+ government is likely to enforce this program very soon in AP and Revanth reportedly delivered key details on the same to Naidu. After having run the program for six months already, Revanth has hands-on experience on this program, and he gave some administrative suggestions to Naidu on this matter, it seems.

The Telangana government is reportedly spending Rs 2200 crores per year on this program(projected). AP also must be spending in a similar ballpark, if not more.

Though the financial burden of this program is a pretty steep one, Chandrababu is said to be determined to bring this to effect at the earliest in AP.
