Twist: CBN’s Return Gift To KCR?

Rumours are doing the rounds that BRS MLAs may join Telangana TDP. This comes in the backdrop of BRS MLAs meeting Chandrababu Naidu who visited Hyderabad recently. BRS MLAs Prakash Goud and Arekapudi Gandhi met with Naidu on Sunday.

Though it is claimed to be a goodwill gesture and courtesy meeting to congratulate Naidu on his stupendous victory in the AP elections, this meeting with Naidu is against the BRS chief’s orders. Ever since news reports of Naidu’s planned visit to Hyderabad came out, BRS leaders started hurling criticism and tried to evoke Telangana sentiment. BRS social media targeted Chandrababu, however, it didn’t yield the desired results.

Now, BRS leaders in Greater Hyderabad who won with settlers votes are mulling the option of joining the Telangana TDP. Earlier, there were rumours about BRS MLA Malla Reddy joining T-TDP and assuming the post of the Telangana state unit president. These didn’t turn out to be true. Now that Naidu is playing a crucial role in NDA 3.0 and calling the shots in Delhi, many are vying up to get into his good books.

Yet, all these came as a major shocker to the BRS chief and former CM KCR. Looks like, this is Chandrababu Naidu’s return gift to his old friend and rival KCR.
