Poonam Kaur appreciates Vijay Sai Reddy

Actress Poonam Kaur, known for frequently making cryptic allegations against Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas on social media, has expressed appreciation for YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy’s support of the lady endowment officer Kalingiri Shanthi, who recently made headlines due to an unsavoury complaint by her husband.

Earlier today, Vijay Sai Reddy addressed a press conference where he criticized media channels for running a malicious campaign aimed at tarnishing his reputation in light of the controversy surrounding Shanthi’s husband’s complaint. He warned of severe consequences for those involved in this affair.

Shortly thereafter, Poonam Kaur took to X and posted a note condemning news channels as blackmailing institutions with hidden agendas to coerce individuals into submission. She lauded Vijay Sai Reddy for standing up for a vulnerable officer who is a girjan.

Poonam remarked that media outlets follow a predictable pattern when such incidents arise, fabricating stories like ‘she became pregnant, took money, did it for money.’ She criticized them as lacking imagination and integrity.

Addressing the woman directly, Poonam urged her not to yield to media pressures or threats and reassured her that she has someone strong protecting her. She encouraged her to stay courageous and not give up.

Interestingly, earlier this April, Poonam had commented that Andhra Pradesh had become akin to Uttar Pradesh concerning women’s abuse and safety during YSRCP’s tenure.
