CM Chandrababu Naidu got on his way to Delhi and partook in a crucial meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah last evening. Several key topics pertaining to the fiscal conditions of Andhra Pradesh reportedly came to discussion here.
Reportedly, Naidu pointed out to Shah how the previous government between 2019-24 misused the funds released by the center and altered the funds for programs other than the intended ones.
Naidu now plans to undo the bad work over the last 5 years by streamlining the investment plans pertaining to the funds that are released from the center.
Henceforth, CM Babu has sought Amit Shah’s continual support to Andhra Pradesh. The center’s funds for the state of AP will rightly be used for Amaravati, Vizag Steel Plant development and the Polavaram project construction. This was the gist of the meeting last evening.
Naidu now faces the challenge of resurrecting AP finances which took a massive beating after the misrule over the last five years.
