As promised earlier, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K.T. Rama Rao has inaugurated the double bedroom housing scheme on Monday. It is to distribute the flats to the beneficiaries as a Dussehra bonanza.
The Minister initiated 840 double bedroom flats at Jiyaguda in Hyderabad, worth of Rs. 71.49 crore. The scheme also covered the basic amenities like electricity, drinking water, cc roads, shopping complex, Basti Dawakhana and other primary facilities offered as the part of the project.
Telangana government has allocated 56 general stores in the locality, and rent of the stores ought to utilize for the maintenance of lifts and house blocks. The municipal Minister has said that 2.75 lakh houses are yet to finish as they are under construction in the state.
“The state government has put in Rs.18,000 crores, especially on this housing project. Even though constructions got delayed, the government will never step back and always ensures to fulfill the promises it given to the people. We are granting the houses only to the poor, do not believe false rumours and don’t fall into prey of mediators and invest your savings with them”. he added.
Minister KT Rama Rao also appealed the beneficiaries to form a society to ensure the houses are clean and to maintain hygiene environment to prevent health hazards due to pandemic season. He ended.
Proceeding to the forthcoming facilities, the Minister also declared that, the government would take up the abattoir, ought to use it scientifically.
In the coming days, Minister will also inaugurate the double bedroom houses at Ghode ki Kabar and kattalmandi amongst Minister MD Mahmood Ali, Animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav including GHMC mayor B Rammohan and other officials.
