Red Star’s Ground Report From Wine Shop

The implementation of the new liquor policy in AP is being welcomed by the masses as it earmarks the return of quality liquor at adequate prices after the treacherous last five years when adulterated liquor was sold for high prices. In view of this, the ‘red star’ CPI leader Narayana got on the ground and inquired about the new liquor policy.

In a video that has caught the attention on social media, Narayana is seen visiting a wine shop and enquiring the details of the liquor supply. We hear people saying they are happy that quality liquor supply has been restored. In particular, one person is seen even abusing Jagan for playing with their lives with adulterated liquor during his time as CM.

“This is good quality liquor with the right prices. We suffered a lot with old liquor.” the public told Narayana as he walked away with a smile after looking at their happy reactions.

CPI is a party of the masses that stays with the public regardless of electoral results and it is leaders like Narayana who reflect the reality from the ground level. So, his ground-level observation on the new liquor policy and relevant public feedback is of good validation to the NDA government.

Notably, Narayana had earlier rebelled against Jagan over contaminated liquor in his tenure. He even called out the controversial Bhoo Raksha program of Jagan by clicking photos alongside the boundary stones with Jagan’s imprint. This exposed the lackluster administration of Jagan at the ground level and played a key role in building an anti-incumbency wave.

Now, after the arrival of the NDA government, Narayana has gone on a ground-level tour in view of the new liquor policy and the reaction is largely positive. This is a positive reinforcement to the NDA government in AP.
