Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is occasionally stepping out in public during his weekly visits to Andhra Pradesh. However, even during these public interactions, he is confining his appearance solely to scripted statements and he is not even ready to take questions from the media.
In a new development, Jagan looked unusually frustrated with the public as he tried to address the media on the growing diarrhea issue in the state.
While Jagan was about to take the mic and speak with the media, his overenthusiastic fans started shouting “CM CM slogans”. This appears to have infuriated Jagan big time.
Upon the commotion created by his fans, Jagan even threatened to leave the media meet and briefly walked away as well. But he himself came back later.
The point to be noted here is that the “CM CM” slogans look appeasing during the election campaign. But now that Jagan has been confined to 11 seats, such slogans will be a source of embarrassment rather than anything. This will only put Jagan in a tough spot.
Adding to that, there is unnecessary commotion whenever Jagan steps out, owing to overenthusiastic fans. It has reached a point where Jagan himself is frustrated and vowing to leave media meets halfway.
