Can KCR pluck the eyes of Gangula Kamalakar: Dasoju Sravan

All India Congress Committee (AICC) official spokesperson Dasoju Sravan fumed at Telangana minister for civil supplies Gangula Kamalakar. He asked if he was a minister or modern-age Keechakas. Keechaka is a lecherous character in Mahabharata known for outraging the modesty of women. Being a powerful man, he tries to harass Draupadi but gets killed by her husband Bhima.

Sravan demanded that Kamalakar should be dismissed from the Cabinet for ‘harassing a woman and trying to outrage her modesty’.

He asked if there was security for girls in Telangana. “Where will the people go if those governing them prove to be harmful? What will be their plight if the rulers harass the public,” he lamented.

Reminding that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had once said that he would pluck the eyes of those who stalk and tease girls, the AICC leader asked if KCR would react in the same way to the allegations against Gangula Kamalakar. “Does KCR have the guts to pluck the eyes of Gangula Kamalakar,” he asked.

The Congress leader demanded that the SHE teams plunge into action and do a comprehensive inquiry into the charges Kamalakar was facing with regard to harassing a woman. KCR had elevated the status of a Telangana betrayer by making him a minister, Sravan lamented and advised the Telangana CM to think properly to set things right.
