Andhra Pradesh deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan has kicked off a political dialogue with his remark on the enhancement of the law and order system in the state. A day after Pawan made this statement, AP DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao gave a message.
“The police department works with the principle of curbing crime and maintaining law and order. We don’t operate with political correctness or related pressures on our head.” DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao commented.
The top cop further added that the police department deals with any case based on concrete evidence and standard procedure. He added that there were indeed certain shortcomings with regard to the policing in the previous government’s tenure.
This clarification from the AP DGP comes right after the Home Minister, Anitha clarified that she’s taking Pawan’s recommendation very positively. The DGP upheld the dignity of the police department with his assertive statement today.
