YCP supporter Borugadda Anil who was in police custody earlier demanded for a biryani to be served or at least homemade food to be provided to him.
The police who earlier rubbished his demand appeared to have been fulfilled yesterday. Borugadda Anil was presented in Mangalagiri court and while returning to Rajahmundry jail they stopped at a restaurant in Gannavaram.
Borugadda was served biryani and the police themselves served him. The police were heard to be rude and grabbed the cell phones to delete the video when the onlookers recorded the incident.
The seven police officers who were involved in arranging the biryani to remand prisoner Borugadda Anil were reportedly suspended from their duties.
Borugadda Anil is facing 17 cases.
