The Most Simple & Humble TTD Chairman!

The highly coveted TTD Board Chairman post comes with its own set of privileges and allowances that are highly desired by many aspirants. These privileges include TTD-sponsored vehicles, elite residence facilities at Tirumala, and several other perks.

However, the newly appointed chairman of TTD, Bollineni Rajagopal Naidu, more famously known as BR Naidu, has done something very interesting and unexpected: he has rejected the privileges that come with the chairmanship position.

Reportedly, when BR Naidu toured Tirumala last week on his inaugural day in office, he used his own car to commute. He even bore the costs of his accommodation at Tirumala and, adding to that, he reportedly cleared the stay and food bills of his family members and friends who accompanied him.

Usually, a TTD chairman likes to make full use of all the privileges that come with the post and often even exploits them. This was a complaint raised against the previous chairmen during the YCP tenure. But BR Naidu is setting a new precedent with his simple approach, which is exactly what is needed to reform TTD.
