TDP MLA from Denduluru, Chintamaneni Prabhakar was outrageously targeted by the YS Jagan government back in the day. It was a routine tradition to take him to the police station once a month with some random case or another. However, despite enduring physical and mental trauma, Prabhakar stood firm and managed to win the Dendaluru seat in this year’s election.
Coming to the topic now, Chintamaneni reportedly had a brief discussion with Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy, and a few interesting topics came to fray here.
Apparently, Chintamaneni expressed disgust at the fact that the officials and cops who tortured him in the last 5 years during the YCP tenure are given top posts even now. Apparently, he is pained by the fact that his torturers are happily carrying on with their posts even in this government.
The fiery MLA revealed that a whopping 27 cases were filed against him and a couple of them were struck down by the court. He said he was put through hell in the earlier tenure and wants some respite now that the NDA government is back at the helm.
With the NDA government slowly but surely locking up all the power-abusers who grossly misused their jurisdictions in the YCP tenure, it could be a matter of time before Chintameneni is served justice. At the same time, CM Babu had already made it clear that he doesn’t believe in vendetta politics and all he is focused is on good governance, a natural observer remarked.
