Bring CBI Investigation on Jagan, Sharmila Writes To Babu

The ugly war of words between YS Sharmila and her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking new twists and turns almost every day. Now, it is Sharmila’s turn to fire on Jagan regarding the Adani fiasco.

In view of the shady Rs 1750 crore worth bribery scandal involving Gautam Adani and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, AP Congress chief YS Sharmila has demanded CBI investigation on the latter.

In her open letter, Sharmila requested CM Chandrababu Naidu to immediately cancel the shady power distribution deal that was signed between Jagan Mohan Reddy and Adani.

Sharmila noted that Jagan’s craving for easy money will potentially add Rs 1.5 lakh crore burden on AP public over the next five years due to the nature of the deal. She cited this as the reason behind her demand to cancel the deal in the first place.

Not stopping there, Sharmila has sought CBI investigation on the case or at least a primary investigation with a sitting judge.

Notably, Chandrababu had already reacted on the matter even before Sharmila’s prompt. He noted that the government is actively working on identifying the culprits and added that Jagan will certainly face the legal consequences for the wrongdoings.
