The custodial torture of AP Deputy speaker, former MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju is one of the heinous crimes committed by the CID in the earlier YCP tenure. Despite being a sitting MP, RRR was arrested and tortured by certain CID officials before he was let out with injuries all over.
With the onset of the NDA government, certain corrective measures are being taken on this front as the custodial torture case has witnessed its first arrest in the form of IPS officer Vijay Paul who is associated with the case. He was arrested by the police yesterday.
However, RRR still isn’t fully pleased and he has called for more action against former CID chief PV Sunil Kumar now. He has sought a lookout notice on Sunil.
“Those CID officers operated like a racket and tortured me. I still remember the guy who sat on my chest to torture me. I can identify him and get him nabbed. As for Sunil Kumar, there’s a risk that he might flee the country fearing police case. So, a lookout notice must be issued against him immediately.” RRR said.
The AP Deputy speaker, former MP went on to reveal more shocking facts about the custodial torture as he revealed. “They tortured me in one particular room in the building and naked it RRR room. They had a guy bring them bat, leather belt and other stuff to torture me. I can identify all of them even now.”
It has to be seen if an actual lookout notice will be issued against Sunil Kumar as this case intensifies.
