The voting for Dubbaka by-poll has concluded sometime back. Until 5 PM, the polling percentage registered is 81.44 percent and people who stood in queue before 6 PM, are being given a chance to cast their vote. So the percentage could slightly go by.
In the last hour of voting, the Election Commission made arrangements for the Covid-19 patients to cast their vote. In 2018, the polling percentage registered was 86 and by the time everyone casts their vote, the officials expect that the percentage could bye 84. This means the voting is low compared to the 2018 polls.
1068 people have cast their vote through postal ballot. Overall the Dubbaka by-poll has concluded peacefully without any hurdles. The counting is scheduled on November 10th.
