A Day With CM: Babu’s Tribute to NRI Supporters

The historic comeback of the Telugu Desam Party, along with the NDA alliance in 2024, was a collective effort of the top leadership and also the cadre. Adding to these efforts was the massive influx of NRI TDP activists who came to India ahead of the election to campaign and work for the party at the grassroots level. These NRIs played a crucial role in adding impetus to TDP from the ground level.

In view of these quality efforts from the NRI base, the TDP think tank has come up with an innovative and thoughtful program to reciprocate the respect for the NRI activists. This new program is titled “A day with CBN” and it gives select NRIs the chance to spend a day with CM Chandrababu and interact with him.

The program was flagged off today and as a part of the same, an NRI named Unnam Naveen, a Sweden resident a chance to meet CM Babu.

Earlier, Naveen had left Sweden and come to India to work for TDP. He spent 5 months on the ground, working for the party. Today, he reaped the rewards for his efforts as he got to meet Chandrababu and interact with him. He will have a full day to spend with Babu.

Apparently, Naveen was on the ground, working actively for TDP’s electoral roll in Kuppam, Srikalahasti, Sullurupeta, Chandragiri, and other constituencies. He kept his career at stake to come work for TDP and its chief Chandrababu Naidu. Today, he has been fairly rewarded through the “Day with Chandrababu” program.

It is heard that this program is aimed at bringing the NRI activists closer to Chandrababu Naidu and rewarding their relentless efforts for the party on the ground ahead of the election.

Needless to say, hundreds or event thousands of such NRI activists had come to India ahead of the election and put their heart and soul into TDP’s campaign. Thanks to this program now, they could all find solace not just with NDA’s historic win but also get a chance to spend a day with Chandrababu which could very well be a blessing in itself for them.
