CM Babu’s Frustration On This Minister: Is It True?

The Kakinda Port issue has caught all the attention in the world after deputy CM Pawan Kalyan inspected the same and found abnormal smuggling activities. In this context, there is an internal hearsay that CM Chandrababu got furious with the concerned cabinet minister, Vasamsetti Subhash(Minister of Factories). Here is a look at the rumor that is in circulation now.

Apparently, Chandrababu is displeased with the way the minister is dealing with this Kakinada Port issue. The internal talk is that the CM is furious with the minister who is not taking proactive measures even while his department is facing severe complaints. On top of that, there have been complaints about the lethargic approach taken by Subhash when it comes to dealing with administrative and governing issues.

It is heard that Chandrababu spoke with Subhash for 20 minutes in private after the recent cabinet meeting and explained to him the nature of the complaints against him. Babu, being a veteran educated the young minister about the measures to be taken to improve his work. At the same time, he reportedly warned the minister that serious action could be taken if he doesn’t mend his ways, it seems.

This issue got aggravated after Subhash went to the Kakinada Port to assess the situation and he was informed by the authorities that PDS rice smuggling was indeed happening. However, despite such a substantial unearthing, the minister reportedly didn’t even check who was behind this operation. This irresponsible mechanism is said to have irked Chandrababu.

There is an ongoing murmur that Chandrababu enquired the minister if he took the issue lightly after knowing the rice mill in question belongs to his nearby people. He is said to have reprimanded the minister and asked him not to take things lightly as the government is very serious about this smuggling operation.

While this is all just political murmur for the time being and it is not verified whether this kind of corrective meeting actually happened, it must be noted that there will be no smoke without fire. If the minister really is lagging behind, then it is high time for him to meet Babu’s demands as the CM, along with deputy CM Pawan Kalyan are very firm about public-friendly governance and they are not likely to turn a blind eye towards lackluster governing by ministers.
