A Fresh FIR Against Arnab Goswami For Assaulting Woman Police

Republic TV’s Editor in Chief Arnab Goswami’s sensational arrest is criticized by many across the country. The supporters of Arnab started accusing the case as a fake one and in yet another twist, a new FIR has been filed against him.

A fresh FIR has been filed against Arnab Goswami, accusing him of outraging the modesty of the female police officer, provoking a breach of peace and criminal intimidation under provisions of the Indian Penal code. Arnab Goswami has also been accused under the provisions of the Damage of Public Property Act.

In the FIR filed against Arnab Goswami, the names of Arnab’s wife and his 20-year-old son have been included with the same allegations.

Post the arrest of Arnab Goswami in the morning, the Raigad police sought 14 days custody of Arnab Goswami in connection with a 2018 abetment of suicide case. The police had renewed the investigation of the 2018 case of interior designer Anvay Naik’s suicide.
