Vijayasai Reddy
Of late, Jagan’s trusted righthand man Vijayasai Reddy has become increasingly expressive with his tweets. He has been tweeting about a wide range of topics over the last few days, and now, he has some free advice for the INDIA alliance at the center level.
Vijaysai has now tweeted out that West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee is the is the ideal candidate to lead the INDIA alliance.
“Honourable West Bengal Chief Minister Didi Mamta Ji is an ideal candidate to lead the INDIA alliance as she has the required political and electoral experience to head an alliance. Didi is also the CM of a large state with 42 Lok Sabha seats and has proven herself time and again.” He tweeted.
While Mamta’s leadership skills and expertise are known to all, Vijayasai’s sudden affiliation with the West Bengal CM has become a topic of discussion.
It isn’t like Mamta Banerjee is a trusted associate of YCP either. In fact, Mamta is a vocal supporter of Chandrababu Naidu and even campaigned against Jagan in parts of AP during the 2019 election while Babu was an active in the third front.
But this isn’t stopping Vijayasai from strengthening Mamta’s candidacy at the center level.
This could in tune with the fact that YS Jagan has very low regard for Rahul Gandhi and absolutely despises him. Has Vijaysai taken this occasion to strengthen Mamta and destabilise Rahul Gandhi’s leadership in the INDIA bloc?
Even for that to happen, YCP is almost irrelevant at the center as it has only 4 MPs on its side. So, while it is understood that Vijayasai has given some free advice to INDIA despite not being a part of the alliance, his hidden operandi is still mysterious.
