The most hideous approach taken by the previous YSR Congress, government was the unrelenting public abuse on Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Nara Lokesh. There were the occasional verbal attack attacks on Pawan Kalyan as well, but the main target was always Chandrababu Naidu.
On this matter, former YSR Congress leader and firebrand lady Vasireddy Padma who is no longer by Jagan’s side has revealed a few shocking insights about the sequence of events that happen behind the curtains.
Padma revealed that everyone in YCP is given a script before sitting in front of the Media and they were instructed to follow the same script. Needless to say, the scripts were loaded with abuses and personal retorts on Chandrababu Naidu and his family.
“Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy used to sit with Jagan Mohan Reddy and prepare the script. He would prepare the script with Jagan’s inputs and the way in which he would like us to abuse Chandrababu. This was a standard pattern. Every single media appearance of almost every YCP leader was entirely scripted. We were all instructed and encouraged to abuse Chandrababu.” Padma stated.
The former YCP lady implied that abusing Chandrababu and his family members was the most efficient way to be in the good books of YS Jagan
Perhaps this is the reason why the likes of Kodali Nani, Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Ambati Rambabu, and Roja made it a habit to abuse Chandrababu, just to be on good terms with their party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. If that really is the case, then Jagan’s approach towards vocal politics needs some serious reconsideration.
