Chandrababu Explains Why He’s Not Arresting Jagan

The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, did something annulled for when he jailed Chandrababu Naidu in a questionable skill scam case. However, this was quickly rebuked by the public as the NDA alliance was voted to power by a huge margin.

After the NDA stormed to power, a section of hard-core TDP loyalist, who could not take it when Babu got arrested, had the gut feeling that Jagan could also be jailed soon.

However, with Chandra Babu, being the sane and composed politician that he is, he completely refrained from going after Jagan and possibly jailing him.

In his interaction with the Media last afternoon, CM Chandrababu revealed that he has no intention of seeking revenge against Jagan.

“The Adani power scandal and the Tirumala Laddu issue give scope for Jagan’s arrest. We could have easily jailed him immediately after coming to power. But that is not the way we are looking to operate. There will be no revenge of politics in our tenure. We are here only to serve the public, and that is how I want to keep it” Babu said.

With this, it is very much clear that Chandrababu has no interest in revenge politics, despite being wrongly jailed by the very same Jagan just over a year ago. While a section of TDP loyalist wanted some sort of reciprocation to the jailing of Chandrababu appears that the man himself has no interest in this regard.
