A Welcoming Approach By TTD Chairman

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is undergoing continuous reforms, with many changes being implemented. It is widely known that there is always a board between the devotees and the Almighty.

While this is well understood, it is rare for the Chairman of the TTD board to be seen by the devotees. Typically, the Chairman only makes an appearance during festivals and then quickly disappears. For the general devotees, it is extremely difficult to even get a glimpse of them.

However, the other day, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu has been taking significant steps to become more approachable to the devotees. As part of his initiative, he has decided to meet with devotees on the 5th and 20th of every month to listen to their concerns and engage with them directly.

At the same time, he has also been inspecting the queues of general devotees, evaluating the facilities provided to them, and gathering details from officials regarding any issues. Based on this, several changes and improvements have been implemented, making TTD more accessible to the devotees.

This Sunday, from morning to evening, Chairman B.R. Naidu made himself available to the devotees. He even visited the Akhilanda and Nadanirajanam cultural programs, where he interacted with the devotees. Sitting with them, he listened to their concerns and suggestions regarding the services provided.

During his interactions, B.R. Naidu took note of several important matters, including the quality of prasadam, the availability of rooms, ticket distribution, and other logistical aspects. Notably, he made a special effort to meet with a majority of the devotees.

In addition, he immediately instructed officials to address the concerns raised by the devotees and ensure that solutions were implemented as quickly as possible. Many devotees expressed satisfaction with the improvements made since the new coalition government took office, mentioning that the laddus and annaprasadam were now of higher quality and the cleanliness had significantly improved.

However, some devotees from Karnataka raised a concern about the security staff rushing them during darshan. They mentioned that, despite enduring hardships to come to the temple, they felt rushed and unable to have a fulfilling darshan. They requested that the temple authorities allow them more time to experience the darshan with a peaceful mind.
