The period between 2019 to 2024 was very hard for Janasena as the party had no representation in the assembly as Pawan Kalyan himself lost from both constituencies. However, the historic 2024 election proved to be the game changer for JSP as the party put up a monumental 21/21 seat victory in the assembly election.
After this historic electoral win, Janasena has now received due recognition from the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Janasena is now an officially recognised political party in Andhra Pradesh, and it will have a dedicated party symbol and also an electoral symbol. What this also essentially means is that the famous glass tumbler symbol of the party is solely allocated for Janasena, and it will not be a free symbol anymore for other parties to use.
After having secured the desired number of assembly seats and also vote share in the assembly elections, Janasena managed to get recognised by the central election commission. The commission wrote a letter to this effect to Pawan Kalyan, according to the communication from the party.
Come 2029 election, the trademark glass symbol will solely be allocated for Janasena and no other party/individual will be able to use it.
