‘Nee Red Book Ki Naa Kukka Kuda Bhayapadadu’

The term “Red Book” has become one of the most prominent phrases in Andhra Pradesh politics in recent months. It gained significant attention after Lokesh promised to document the names of problematic YCP leaders and government officials who mistreated TDP cadres between 2019 and 2024 in this red book.

However, there have been complaints from Telugu Desam supporters, who believe that Lokesh is not fully utilizing this infamous red book. This can be inferred from the latest media statement issued by Ambati Rambabu.

Speaking to the media today, Ambati remarked, “Aa Erra book ki naa Kukka kuda bhayapadadu.” What he meant was that even his dog wouldn’t be afraid of the red book initiated by Lokesh.

“Lokesh recently claimed that YCP leaders are scared of his red book. But now, I’m saying this openly: Even my dog is not scared of his red book. If we were afraid of that red book, we wouldn’t be able to do politics, and that’s not going to happen,” Ambati said.

While this statement might seem like a perfect slap in the face to Ambati, it is rubbing TDP supporters the wrong way. They are commenting that Lokesh is going easy on the red book, which is why people like Ambati Rambabu are able to speak so cheaply about it.

On the other hand, it can be noted that YCP leaders are slowly but surely regaining their confidence, as they have started to target and abuse Lokesh and Chandrababu again. At this rate, we could be back to the 2019 situation, where YCP recklessly abused Lokesh, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan.
