SC Warns Petitioner Over Meritless Petition in CBN’s Case

Back in September 2023, the Government of Andhra Pradesh instigated AP CID to file a questionable skill scam case against Chandrababu and eventually jailed him. Several doubts were raised about the method of operation of CID back then.

Coming to the topic now, petition was filed at the Supreme Court to transfer the 7 CID cases that were filed against Chandrababu to the CBI. However, the Supreme Court got furious with this argument and gave an earful to the concerned parties.

The apex court reprimanded senior lawyer Maninder Singh who opted to argue the case and issued a strong warning in this regard. Justice Bela Trivedi warned the petitioned and lawyer that heavy penalties will be levied on them if they utter even a single word regarding the case now.

The Supreme Court looked extremely agitated about this petition to transfer this CID cases to the CBI.

The apex court stated that this is a useless case that has no sort of credibility or legal merit. The judges bench expressed dissatisfaction with senior lawyer Mahinder Singh, for even having the tenacity to argue with this case, which has absolutely zero upside.
