A couple of days back the official Twitter handle of Telangana Congress committed a blunder by holding an online Twitter poll regarding KCR and Revanth Reddy. “Which is better? Is it Farmhouse rule(KCR) or Praja Palana(public rule by Revanth)? This poll read.
This backfired in the face of Congress as the majority of votes were pulled in favour of Farmhouse rule(indirectly KCR). This turned out to be a big blender from the Telangana Congress Twitter ecosystem. But at the same time, there is no need to pay too much attention to this online poll either, after all, it’s just a social media equipment.
But interestingly enough, both KCR and KTR themselves have started to speak about this Twitter pole on multiple mediums. Earlier today, KTR Twitter about Telangana, people still wanting farmhouse rule in the state as he passed satires on Revanth Reddy.
As if KTR’s online reaction was not enough, even KCR took the occasion to speak about this while interacting with BRS cadres today. He too quoted the results of the poll today as he said “They held a Twitter poll it seems. Apparently, 70% voted for me while 30% voted for that fellow(Revanth). This shows the mood of Telangana.”
It is true that Telangana Congress committed a blunder with this unnecessary poll and they’re getting trolled for the same. But the fact that KTR and KCR themselves are coating the results of this social media poll is a bit strange. How can a social media equipment get so much attention from party heads? Is it needed in the first place?
