Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is one of the senior most and influential public representatives on behalf of YSR Congress. He is said to have literally run the operations for the entire Chittoor district and also Rayalaseema segment during the time when Jagan was the chief minister.
However, after YSR Congress got ousted from power, the illegal operations of Peddireddy are coming out one by one. In the most significant revelation, till now, it is being established that Ramachandra Reddy had occupied nearly hundred acres of reserve Forest land.
In this context, Eenadu has rolled out a new cartoon, which perfectly depicts the situation and also highlights the gravity of the issue.
In the cartoon that was published by this leading media publication today, we see a couple of tigers looking at the enclosure built by Peddireddy and saying “don’t go that way. Those people are more dangerous than us.” There is also a depiction of the forest getting cleared for the construction of Peddireddy’s lavish farmhouse.
This cartoon is in tune with the allegation that the massive farmhouse and the surrounding fencing done by Peddireddy is obstructing wildlife movement to an alarming level. This cartoon effectively explains the gravity of the situation.
Meanwhile, there is growing demand on the NDA government to take corrective measures in this regard and hold Peddireddy responsible if he is at fault here.
