The YS family is in absolute tatters now after the blatant outbreak of property disputes between Jagan and his sister Sharmila, which has also legally involved their mother, Vijayamma. In this context, Vijayamma has filed a counter at the National Company Law Tribunal in response to Jagan’s petition to take back the gift deeds he had earlier given to Sharmila and Vijayamma from the Saraswati Power Company.
In her counter, Vijayamma mentioned that it breaks her heart to be standing in court over family matters. She further added that there is no legal credibility in Jagan and Bharathi approaching the tribunal to reclaim the gift deeds that they themselves originally accorded. She stated that Jagan and Bharathi have changed their stance, and this argument should not be validated.
She further argued that the legal tribunal cannot interfere in matters regarding family, gifts, and deeds, which are internal company affairs. Her statement was very much in favor of Sharmila and against Jagan, who is now on a mission to take back the deeds he originally gifted to Vijayamma and Sharmila.
It all started when Jagan approached the tribunal, stating that he has no love left for Sharmila and wants to reclaim the gift deeds he had given to Vijayamma and Sharmila out of goodwill. Now that she is politically motivated against him and is no longer aligning with his interests, he no longer wants to gift the deeds—worth hundreds of crores—to Sharmila.
However, Vijayamma has taken strong offense to this argument and has implied that Jagan and Bharathi are not to be believed on the legal front in this matter.
