The recent jail visit from YS Jagan, where he met Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who is on remand over a kidnap case, is coming back to haunt him. Anyways, he wasn’t even expecting. In fact, this point came to discussion at the hearing on Kodi Kathi case at Vizag NIA court recently.
At the recent hearing of the case, the suspect, Kodi Kathi Srinivas attended the court session while the victim, Jagan Mohan Reddy skipped the same. The court then adjourned the case to 21 March.
Following the hearing, SC Committee convenor, Busi Venkatrao pointed out that Jagan has the time to go to jail to meet Vamsi who is accused of kidnapping an SC person, but he doesn’t have the time to attend court hearing on his own case. Venkatrao fired on Jagan for blatantly skipping investigation on this case while actively participating in every other political activity.
This case had come to over 20 hearings till now but not once had Jagan attended the same. Meanwhile, the suspect, Srinivas is still on bail as he awaits final judgement on the case.
Well, the SC representative certainly has a strong point to make here as a SC candidate (Kodi Kathi Srinu) rotted in jail for 5 years while Jagan is reluctant to even attend court hearing on the same.
