The inevitable has happened. AP Fibernet chairman GV Reddy has resigned his position and quit Telugu Desam Party. This comes shortly after he complained about non compliance of the IAS officer Dinesh Kumar in the Fibernet department and CM Chandrababu didn’t take substantive action on the same.
This immediately triggered a resignation from Reddy and he called it quits to both TDP and also his official position as the Fibernet chairman.
This untimely and evidently consequential resignation has now instigated a strong reaction from Chandrababu as the matter reached him a short while back. Principally, the resignation of GV Reddy has been approved by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
This was followed by adhesive action against the concerned IAS officer Dinesh Kumar who has been transferred out of the department and was asked to report to GAD for further explanation. His authority has been largely restricted now.
Babu, being a characteristically lenient administrator who has a soft corner for bureaucracy sided with the IAS officer again in this matter and this costed him hardworking and intellectual leader like GV Reddy. And finally after the resignation, he took evasive action by transferring out the IAS officer and reporting him to GAD for scrutiny.
