Talk: Vijaya Sai Reddy’s Unexpected Role in Vice President’s Telangana Visit

After having announced an untimely retirement from politics and leaving Jagan when it hurts the most after the election, Vijaya Sai Reddy has been away from the political spectrum for the last few weeks.

However, he made a sudden entry today as he was one of the few members to receive vice president Jagdeep Dhankar in Hyderabad today. He arrived at the chopper strip this afternoon and received the vice president, who is currently on a trip to Telangana.

Telugu Desam Rajya Sabha MP Sana Satish was also one of the members at the greeting ceremony today and Vijaya Sai stood right beside the TDP MP.

The point to be noted here is that there is a lot of confusion about the position at which Sai Reddy was permitted to greet the vice president today. He does not have the protocol privileges now after having resigned to his Rajya Sabha membership while quitting YSR Congress.

So how was Sai Reddy permitted to meet and greet the vice president today? This is the question that is being raised by several political observers today.
