YCP MLA’s ’11 Players’ Tweet Triggers Social Media Laughter

Team India achieved a remarkable victory in the Champions Trophy last night, lifting the coveted trophy after 12 long years. As the entire nation celebrates this historic win, even YSR Congress is looking to use this moment to boost its image.

YCP’s Yerragondapalem MLA T Chandrasekhar stated that India won the game with 11 players, without forming any kind of alliance, and made 100 crore Indians proud.

“Evari pothu lekunda India 11 members tho nijayathi ga cup gelichindi. 4 years tharvatha AP lo idey repeat avtundi,” the MLA tweeted. His implication here is that India won on its own, without any alliance, and the number “11” directly refers to the number of MLA seats held by YCP.

While the YCP MLA tried to instil confidence in his party cadres to encourage them, his attempt backfired as he was trolled in return.

Supporters of the NDA alliance humorously commented that Team India didn’t go around saying, “Why not 175,” and ended up with 11 players. Another person commented that this YCP MLA doesn’t even understand the comparison between cricket and politics, as sports don’t have alliances.
