YCP or NDA: No Change in Attacks on TDP Cadre

One of the many complaints and concerns raised against the previous Jagan government was the relentless attacks on Telugu Desam supporters and cadres. There have been countless incidents of TDP activists being hacked to death and sustaining severe injuries.

However, with the onset of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, the party’s workforce believed that their fate would change, and they would be protected.

Yet, a recent incident in the Punganur constituency of Chittoor district has once again revived the atmosphere of terror. A hardcore TDP supporter and grassroots worker has been hacked to death.

On this matter, Lokesh tweeted, “I pay my tearful tributes to Ramakrishna, a TDP activist from Krishnapuram, Punganur mandal, Chittoor district, who was injured and died in the attack by YCP mobs. I have made arrangements to provide better medical care to Ramakrishna’s son, Suresh, who was injured in this attack.

The people rejected Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was born near a dead body and came to power with another dead body. However, the politics of murder continue. We will punish the accused according to the law. It is very sad that TDP has lost a soldier due to YCP. We will support their family in every way.”

The sad thing here is that Ramakrishna had earlier made a video where he expressed fear for his life and requested support from the local leadership. Unfortunately, this request was not honored, which ultimately led to his murder.

TDP cadres across the Telugu states are now urging the hierarchy and local leadership to increase their activity on this front. They are tagging Lokesh on Twitter, asking for more attention and action regarding this issue.
