The Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party thinktank is setting in motion Chandrababu’s words on the party activists who stood like a pillar of support to the party in tough times. Paving the red carpet for the party workers, the Andhra Pradesh CM recently said that party workers are the real bosses. In a game-changing move, Babu issued fresh guidelines to his MLAs and grassroot level leaders in this regard.
As per Chandrababu’s latest instructions, all the TDP MLAs and local incharges must interact with the constituency voters and address their grievances on Wednesday mornings. And in the afternoon, they must meet the party workers and accept and address their problems and suggestions for party building at the foundation level. Enthusiastic activists who performed well will be lauded during the party meetings.
After the meetings with the people and party workers, the legislators and incharges are instructed to submit the minutes of the meeting to the TDP central office. Leaders who fail to organise the meetings should submit a written explanation to the central office. Furthermore, the incharge ministers must visit their respective constituencies twice a month. While they will be interacting with the district authorities on day one, day two will be a party cadre meeting along with the zonal coordinators.
TDP has the most efficient workforce like no other political party in the country. The party scripted history recently with the 1 crore party memberships, prompting Nara Lokesh to describe the party workers as the real leaders. Nara Lokesh has been actively touring his constituency and interacting with the voters and local leaders and activists ranging from the first cluster, unit, and booth incharges to address their grievances. He is also encouraging the party activists who have been actively participating in the ‘Babu Surety-Bhavishyathuku Guarantee,’ ‘Sankharavam,’ voter verification, and TDP party apps supervision.
