Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is known for implementing several reforms in administration and public policy-making. This has been his modus operandi for the last three decades of his political career. In this context, he has now introduced a new program named P4 to eradicate poverty in Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrababu Naidu’s P4 program, launched on Ugadi 2025, stands for Public-Private-People Partnership. It aims to eradicate poverty in Andhra Pradesh by connecting wealthy families with underprivileged ones.
Just a week after the launch of this flagship program by the Andhra Pradesh government, there have already been some positive developments.
Reportedly, Prasad Seeds Chairman, Karumuri Prasad, has made a significant donation to the P4 program cause established by the government of Andhra Pradesh. He has pledged to contribute Rs 10 crore toward the Kommamuru Lift Irrigation project.
Once this project is completed, it will directly help in cultivating 5,315 acres of farmland. This would ultimately assist the farming community in Andhra Pradesh, which would, in turn, work toward eradicating poverty.
The main scheme proposed by Chandrababu is that the top 10% of earners are encouraged to support the bottom 20% through financial aid, mentorship, and resources. The government facilitates this partnership using data tools to identify families, ensure transparency, and monitor progress.
Naidu envisions this as a community-driven model for inclusive growth and long-term upliftment. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is also an integral part of the same.
