After the historic defeat in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh General Election, Jagan has been more focused on pushing the narrative that he will storm back to power in 2029, rather than assessing the reasons behind his own loss.
In this context, Jagan made an interesting prediction today as he revealed his Jyothishyam (predictive theory) about Chandrababu. Jagan stated that a politician in power must act with dignity and political conscience, or else they will be taught a lesson by the public and by God himself.
“When a politician gains power, he must aim to deliver good governance. But in this case, Chandrababu is misusing his power to oppress his opponents. If that continues, he will face consequences from both the public and God. In the next election, Chandrababu won’t even get into single digits,” Jagan asserted.
Jagan’s theory revolves around the idea that bad governance can lead to severe consequences in politics. On that note, some critics are pointing out that his statement might be self-contradictory.
A few neutral observers are questioning whether Jagan’s comments apply to his own term. “Jagan is claiming that Chandrababu is a bad administrator and will be reduced to single-digit seats. If that’s the logic, does it mean Jagan himself was a bad administrator between 2019 and 2024—and that’s why he ended up with just 11 seats?” a Twitter user commented.
