BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy has made sensational remarks that are now creating a stir in Telangana politics. Speaking to the media, he said that people and industrialists are unhappy with the Congress government in the state. He also claimed that many want former CM KCR to return to power.
In a shocking statement, he revealed that there’s pressure on their party to form the government—even if it means buying Congress MLAs. He added that some industrialists are ready to fund this effort, showing interest in investing money to bring back BRS to power.
These comments have caused a huge political uproar. Congress leaders were quick to respond by reminding the public of past statements made by BRS chief KCR, where he claimed that the Revanth Reddy government wouldn’t last long.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy strongly reacted to Prabhakar Reddy’s comments. He accused the BRS leadership—especially KCR and his son—of being desperate to bring down the Congress-led Indiramma government and take back power.
He further said that BRS leaders were using Prabhakar Reddy to make such statements because they can’t digest the success of the Congress government. Ponguleti stressed that the current government is for the people and no one can remove them from power.
He also claimed that the BRS leaders are making such remarks because they are scared—afraid that the Congress government is going after the illegal money BRS leaders made during their time in power.
