Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan is a very expressive and outspoken individual these days. This is becoming particularly evident if we look at the fact that he has been publicly expressing his opinions and views on the terror attacks and subsequent events.
In this context, a fake statement was extensively carried by fake news peddling handles on social media using the name of Pawan Kalyan.
Earlier, Pawan Kalyan had stated “All the terrorists associated with the Pahalgam attack follow Islam as they misused power in the name of faith in community. But on the contrary, several Kashmiri Muslims, who also follow Islam were the ones who saved and rescued the injured and wounded tourists.”
However, this generic statement from Pawan Kalyan was misquoted and misinterpreted by a few news handles. It was projected as if Pawan Kalyan had referred to all the Muslims as terrorists and expressed hate on Islam.
If that isn’t enough, there were also reports about a police complaint being filed against Kalyan for terming all Muslims as terrorists.
In order to clarify on this matter, these social media handles associated with Janasena have started to share the original video clipping of Kalyan. In the video, Kalyan clearly explains the difference between extremist Islam groups and conventional peace loving Islamists(Muslims).
It is very much evident that the statement from Kalyan was clearly misquoted by certain social media handles.
