No Salary, Only Service: Pawan Donates Monthly Pay to Orphan kids

It is already known that Pawan Kalyan is a man with a strong socialistic and philanthropic spirit. He often makes sizeable donations to welfare and humanitarian projects whenever prompted. This time he has done it at an official capacity as he pledge to donate his monthly salary to offer kids in Pithapuram.

The latest communication from the Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister is that he will be donating his MLA salary to orphan kids in Pithapuram.

On Friday, at his camp office in Mangalagiri, Kalyan provided financial assistance of Rs. 5 thousand per month to 42 orphan children from Pithapuram constituency, totaling Rs. 2,10,000 from his salary. He announced that the remaining amount of the salary will also be spent on their well-being.

Kalyan personally provided assistance to 32 people who were available. He said that the remaining ten people will be provided with that amount through the district administration.

On the topic, Kalyan stated “Keeping in mind the financial situation of the state, I decided not to take salary after being elected as a legislator. I wanted to use the amount taken in the form of salary for the future of the children whose parents are far away from me in the Pithapuram constituency, where I won, and for their education. I will use the entire salary for the welfare of orphaned children as long as I am in the government and office.”

Starting from now to the end of his tenure, as an MLA Kalyan will be donating his monthly salary to orphan kids. This is a very generous and honourable gesture from the deputy CM, remarked a neutral observer.
