Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken the operations of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) very seriously. He has been actively holding meetings with the officials to sort out the investment portals and job creation indexing of the operation.
On that note, Babu chaired the sixth such meeting with the representatives of SIPB last evening and this turned out to be great news for the unemployed population in the state.
Going into the story, Chandrababu chaired the 6th SIPB meeting held at the Secretariat, which paved the way for investments worth ₹33,000 Cr across 19 projects. These investments will generate 35,000 jobs in the energy, tourism, IT, and electronics sectors. So far, six SIPB meetings have been held, approving 76 projects worth ₹4,95,796 Cr.
It isn’t like Babu is signing these agreements and announcing job creation simply like that either. He has called for the authorities to set up live dashboards to assess and monitor the progress of each of the projects and also the ground level activity.
Babu wants top leadership to be actively monitoring every single bit of this investment and employment drive in order to get the right deliverables from the same.
