Arrest Beckoning? What’s Jagan’s Response?

The government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted a SIT to investigate the hugely infamous liquor scam that happened during the YCP tenure. Several high profile arrests including those of Jagan’s close associates, OSD, and special secretary were made in connection with this case.

It has reached a point where there are several reports about the possible arrest of YS Jagan himself in this case. Incidentally, this point was brought up in front of YS Jagan while he was addressing the media today and here is his response to the same.

When Jagan was asked by a national media representative about the reports pertaining to his arrest, he had a very dismissive facial reaction.

Jagan had a subtle smile on his face when he was asked this question and he replied “I am right here in Vijayawada. Let them come and arrest me if they can, who is stopping them?”.

There was this trademark smirk on Jagan’s face while he was reacting to this question, as he evidently tried to keep a dismissive and carefree tone. But the intensity question was quite significant and it rightly reflects the political mood in the state.
