After having been relegated to just 11 seats in last year’s election, YS Jagan has been avoiding Assembly visits and instead coming more frequently in front of the media to voice his opinion. In order to stamp his presence in AP, he had been occasionally holding explosive press meets.
Incidentally, Jagan had one such press conference yesterday as he addressed away range of topics. He was even asking about the arrest that is in the beckoning, and Jagan replied “Here I am in Vijayawada. Let them come and arrest me if they can.”
Not stopping there, Jagan made a series of wild comments on ChandraBabu and even challenged him to prove the liquor scam case allegations against him. Jagan was exhibiting signs of his trademark passive aggression and assertive conduct.
However, after exhibiting so much bravado in front of the media, Jagan didn’t take long to leave Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, he flew off to Bengaluru later in the evening yesterday.
Jagan had a habit to fly to Bengaluru on regular basis and has been privately staying at his residence in Yelahanka. But after the explosive press meet yesterday, many expected Jagan to stay back in AP and carry the momentum to instill confidence in YCP cadres.
But Jagan was having none of it as he reportedly flew back to Bengaluru even after throwing such a big challenge about his arrest.
